Nestled by the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Greene Ridge Farm spans 158 acres of peace and beauty, making it one of the ideal Charlottesville cottages for your getaway. It’s a perfect base for exploring Charlottesville, Shenandoah National Park, Skyline Drive, Monticello, Montpelier, and the numerous vineyards in Virginia's wine country. This historic farm is also a fantastic destination; the cottage is country cozy, featuring two bedrooms, a sitting room, a fireplace, a kitchen, and a wrap-around porch. It overlooks the stables, ponds, and the mountains beyond, surrounded by fields and woods. You can walk or ride on our many trails, fish the ponds, enjoy a picnic by Preddy Creek, spend time with our horses (or bring your own!), build a crackling fire in the fire-pit at night, or simply sit on the wrap-around porch and relax. Come enjoy the tranquility of life in the country.
